Since 2005, Synergy Animation has provided well known clients with high quality animation production combined with efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Synergy was founded by Cindy Ge & Michael Benet, two artists with decades of experience at Walt Disney Feature Animation.

Synergy Animation believes in the magical art of storytelling and that animation is the best way to do it. We bring to life the goal of producing quality entertainment at affordable budgets.

Meet the Founders

CINDY GE

A native of Shanghai, China,  Cindy graduated from FIT in New York City in 1995, after which she was selected for the prestigious Disney Internship at Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida.   Which led to her 10 year career there, in which she worked on various productions such as “THE HUNCHBACK of NOTRE DAME”, ”MULAN", "JOHN HENRY", “TARZAN”, ”LILO & STITCH"“ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE” and "BROTHER BEAR" as well as other projects for Theme Parks and Interactive Media.

In 2005 she co-founded SYNERGY ANIMATION in Shanghai, China with Michael Benet.  There, she has produced hundreds of episodes of animated TV series, such as "THE EMPEROR'S NEW SCHOOL", "THE REPLACEMENTS", "PHINEAS & FERB", "MILO MURPHY'S LAW" for Walt Disney Television Animation. "BE COOL, SCOOBY-DOO" for Warner Bros. Television Animation. “DUNCANVILLE”, “The BOB’S BURGERS MOVIE”, “THE PRINCE” and “HOUSEBROKEN” for Fox Television Animation/Bento Box Entertainment.  And various other projects for theme parks and interactive media.  Currently, she is producing the animation production on “HAMSTER & GRETEL” for Walt Disney Television Animation.

MICHAEL BENET

Michael worked as an animator at Walt Disney Feature Animation Florida for a decade from 1994-2004 on various productions such as "MULAN", "JOHN HENRY", "LILO & STITCH" and "BROTHER BEAR" as well as other projects for Theme Parks and Interactive Media.

In 2005 he co-founded SYNERGY ANIMATION in Shanghai, China with Cindy Ge. There, he has overseen and directed the production of  hundreds of episodes of animated TV series, such as "THE EMPEROR'S NEW SCHOOL", "THE REPLACEMENTS", "PHINEAS & FERB", "MILO MURPHY'S LAW" for Walt Disney Television Animation.
